For the past three years, hockey has consumed my life, all in pursuit of one goal: becoming team captain. The only obstacle in my path? TJ Beckett. Ever since we first crossed paths during our freshman year, I’ve despised Beck for his careless and immature ways. Despite my clear disdain for him, the coaches see something in Beck that I fail to recognize, and they refuse to make a decision between us.
